The Balloon Story by Ella

Imagine your most favourite spot in the world or a place you like to visit.

At this spot, you are waiting to leave with a group of people on a hot-air balloon.  Three of you all won a trip on this balloon.  As you step into the balloon with the other two people you accidentally kick the rope that was holding the balloon to the ground. It suddenly lifts off the ground without the person who was going to take the three of you on the tour.

“Emily, my cousin and I were on the beach. We saw a hot air balloon and we ran up to it. We wanted to look, so we went in. Emily tripped over the anchor and off we went over the water.  “Ah!” we screamed and screamed!

Then we both saw Mystery Island. Our mouths dropped wide open. Mystery Island “I wonder what’s there” I said “I don’t want to go there”.

“It’s okay” said Emily.  “I’ll figure out how to get us out of here.  On the bright side it’s sunny out”.

Then it started raining.  “Oh come on” I said. “I  don’t have a jacket “.

“Me neither” said Emily.

“Oh, my goodness!” I said.

“We’re there, we’re on mystery island.” said Emily.

“I’m scared” I said. I want to go home.”

“It’s okay”, said Emily reassuringly.

“We have to see, we can’t just sit here forever.  Okay” I said.

Emily and I got off the air balloon. We went through a cave and stepped onto fuzzy grass and trees that had really soft tops on them. They had pink and orange tops. They started walking and there was a river with colourful fish.

Then there was a nice guy who came out of an extraordinary looking mansion and said “Hi girls, how did you get here?” You can stay here with my wife and I until we finish building a boat and we can take you girls home.

”Okay”, we said.

Five days later we were on their way home.”
