Riding in the Tour de Victoria without Epilepsy

KJP_tourdevictoria_kinggeorMr. Mollinga got epilepsy when he was just 22 years old. For 25 years he had petite mal seizures and wasn’t able to ride a bike like he can today.

In January of 2012 he had an operation to remove vascular malformations that stopped him from having seizures completely thus allowing him to ride a road cycle in events like the Ryder Hesjedal Tour de Victoria last Sunday. This 100 km ride had some very tough conditions due to the weather – lots of rain and very windy. He finished in 12th position out of 303 other cyclists.

When he saw the finish line he was extremely happy as it was an accomplishment he could never achieve before.

If you have a problem that prevents you from doing something, do something about it so you can set goals and reach them. Whatever you want to achieve, you can as long as you have the will to do so.
